What Happens If Your Hearing Aid CAN'T Be Repaired?
On rare occasions, some hearing aids just can’t be repaired. This can be for several reasons.
- The chip (Processor) has gone bad. If the main processor goes bad or has been damaged, we have one of two choices. 1.) If the aid is new enough, we can forward it to the original manufacturer and request that they replace the chip. If the aid is older, the manufacturer may no longer stock the chip and they will decline the repair.
Or, 2.) we can return the hearing aid back to you at no cost unrepaired (except the cost of your initial shipping to us).
- Although HearSource stocks thousands of parts for most hearing aids, sometimes a particular part is just not available. We will return the unrepaired hearing aid back to at no cost to you (except the cost of your initial shipping to us).

I’ve been using HearSource’s hearing aid repair services for a few years now and I have always been extremely satisfied with their work. They evaluate all of the hearing aid components and make sure everything is working correctly, from the microphones to the volume control and even the wires, switches, and buttons. Plus, they thoroughly clean the hearing aid before returning it to me, which is a huge plus. I know I can trust them to do a good job because they provide a one-year warranty as well. Highly recommend HearSource hearing aid repair services to anyone looking for quality service.

I recently had a seven-year-old Beltone hearing aid that stopped working. I had taken it to several hearing aid offices, but none were willing to repair it. I was about to give up hope when I heard about HearSource’s hearing aid repair service. I gave them a try and I’m so glad I did! They were able to repair my hearing aid at a great price ($249 plus shipping). HearSource hearing aid repair service is an excellent option for anyone needing to repair their hearing aid. They offer a great service at an affordable price, and I’m so grateful I found them. Highly recommend the HearSource hearing aid repair service!

Charleen T. From Albuquerque, NM. –
Like others, I found HearSource Hearing Aid Repair service when my local lady told me that my hearing aid could not be repaired. HearSource had it repaired and back in my possession within a week.
Roger L. From Titusville, FL. –
Five stars for these guys. Mine was a pretty serious issue that my local audiologist said was not worth even trying to repair. I sent my aid to these guys without upfront payment, they repaired it in a normal course of business without delay. They called me when done with the repair in only a couple of days and I paid over the phone by credit card. Very good service.
William C. From Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia, Canada –
I live quite a drive to any local hearing aid office. HearSource repaired my hearing aids when I thought that they could not be repaired. 5-Star rating on their repair service.
Barbara M. From Toledo, OH. –
Old hearing aid brought back to life. It took them about a week. I think the extra fifty dollars was with it for the one-year warranty.
David B. From Mechanicsburg, OH. –
Just received my devices back from repair. Great job. I can hear again. Even with all that is going on today, it was a really quick turn around.

SIEMENS IN-THE-CANAL HEARING AIDS (Insio 7bx IIC): Approx. 3 yrs ago, I purchased Siemens top-of-the-line hearing aids (Insio 7 bx IIC) from a manufacturer authorized audiologist. I’ve had nothing but trouble with the aids ever since.
I have become diligent in cleaning these siemens aids. Unfortunately, due to the cost, I couldn’t replace them. Recently, I sent to HearSource for repairs and they have been functioning properly. And at a much lower price than my audiologist had quoted me.
Martin S. From Sturgis, MI. –
My hearing aids are old. These guys fixed them up and got them working for me. No one else would. It took two weeks as they had to order parts. The paperwork advises they replaced the microphones, a switch, and both ear hooks. They did a good job at a fair price.
Raul G. B. –
Very good repair service. Took a few days longer than I thought, hence the 4-star review instead of a 5-star review.
Raymond Hensen –
These guys are awesome!
Genevieve Adams –
