Sound Class Technology

I have a high-frequency hearing loss with normal hearing in the low frequencies. I have always been able to hear a slight “hearing aid noise” with my previous hearing aids. Not so with these new Widex Moment 440 hearing aids. Perfectly quiet and no noise. I went with the 312D model due to not wanting to be tied down to a charger. Changing the batteries at my pleasure makes more sense for my lifestyle. I hear very well with them and don’t know how any other hearing aid could be better. HearSouce saved me a lot of money and have been great to deal with.

I had my hearing tested while passing thru Effingham, IL. I was told I needed hearing aids (which I already knew) and the lady at the hearing aid office told me the price was $6,700. I’m an over the road truck driver. I have a high-frequency hearing loss. I also have tinnitus. So I left to think about it and do some research. During my research I found HearSource.com. I called them and spoke with “Chuck”. I submitted a copy of my hearing test so he could review it and make a recommendation. He was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I ordered these Widex Moment hearing aids on 3/17/2020 and they arrived at my residence on the morning of 3/20/2020. I thought that was pretty impressive as the place in Effingham had said it would take two weeks for me to get them. It is unreal how good these hearing aids really are. I can hear my wife, the TV volume is at 12 instead of 22 without the aids. Everything sounds so natural and clear. I have an appointment later today on the phone with the HearSource technician for what they termed a “tech call”. I’m sure it is to see if everything is working okay and if I needed it, any sound adjustments, which at this point I don’t think I do. They sound pretty good to me the way they are currently adjusted.
I downloaded the Widex Moment app onto my cell phone. I can do sound adjustments using my smartphone, turn them up or down, etc. Still learning and getting familiar with the app. Pretty awesome.
I just want to give a shout out to Chuck and HearSource for these hearing aids, their professionalism, and competence. I saved $2704 purchasing thru them. Their service is outstanding. Love – Love – Love. PERFECT SOUND. I ordered these Widex MOMENT hearing aids on Tuesday of this week. I submitted a copy of my hearing test with the order. I received them at my house today (Thursday). They had already been preprogrammed for my hearing loss. The are very good sounding to me. I’ll wear them them for a few days before contacting HearSource for any necessary remote fine tuning. I believe they are everything that I had hoped they would be. I have already paired them to my iPhone and received/heard calls through the aids. Very clear stereo phone sound. The Widex Moment app is intuitive and easy to use.
The pricing from HearSource is $3,000 less than what I was quoted from my local audiologist. I could not have afforded them without HearSource.
